| Welcome to the official website of the St. Charles East High School Colorguard The St. Charles East Colorguard are from St. Charles, Illinois. They are a club at the St. Charles East High School. The Colorguard work year 'round. They start immediately following tryouts in May. During the summer the Guard meets twice a week to work on technique, build strength, and learn routines they will need to know for the fall football season. Performances include: Kane County Cougars, Football Games, Freshman Orientation, Pep Assemblies, School Assemblies, Parades, and Competitions. The Colorguard competes during the winter with the Illinois Drill Team Association (IDTA). The Varsity have been STATE CHAMPIONS with IDTA since 2002.
