Who We Are
|
The St. Charles East Colorguard is an Activity Club at the High School. The Club consists of a JV and a Varsity team. Team members must tryout in the spring, usually early May. The Colorguard is a year 'round activity. The members start practicing and preparing for football performances right after tryouts. During the summer they attend an instructional camp and perform at professional events. Fall season involves football games, pep assemblies, and preparing for the upcoming competition season. This year the teams will compete with the Illinois Drill Team Association (IDTA) and with Team Dance Illinois (TDI).
The Varisty Colorguard are seven-time state champions with the Illinois Drill Team Association. In the past 7 years of State Championships they have earned a total of 12 State titles. Check out the Event Calendar to view a list of upcoming fundraisers and performances.
